Octopus is a giant, outdoor book of visual poetry, that presents a collective idea through an individual expression. The book, 25 plywood panels, each 4 by 8 feet, attached with hinges, opens to 100 feet long. Each artist/poet creates their work in white on a black panel/page; the white serving to visually unite a diverse group that becomes a sculpture.
The installation process of Octupus is open to the public
